well first and foremost thanks so much for cluing me in on the "stickle ho" title I know someone who deserves one of those satin across the chest beauty padgent banners proclaiming that. I think I'll make her one written with ummm stickles! But I digress :) back to your orig. question, salvaging the LO, I vote for a mat, perhaps even cut out of light weight chipboard to give it some depth,painted or inked in a color to match your papers and here goes. embellished (not slathered lol) with some stickles. perhaps thinned with a bit of water and painted on? But before you do this you need to make a color photocopy as is, print your story and also include it in your album or at least in an "all about you" album :) Stickle on!

Kim...KEEP IT!!! As I sit here laughing/coughing (influenza...grr) at your little experience, my mind wonders to the stash that I have at work...unbeknown to what it actually was at the time I bought it and how I have now discovered it will come home with me so that I likewise can become a little Stickles Ho too!!!! I think your dragonflies are beautiful, and when I saw your "frame"...I broke out in full laughter only because that will be totally me! LOL But really though...keep it! It looks like a crocheted(sp) edge. There is no "wrong way" in scrapbooking!

Well good thing is my eye is drawn toward the photo! But if you hadn't shown me what the dragonflies looked like I'd have had to hunt them down!

Hmm, I'm thinking your photo could use a double mat like suggested before to cover it up. Do you have any papers that match the colors?

I also like the idea of printing your story here and adding it to the page! You can reprint the picture and do another LO! LOL

Where do you live? I have TONS of that paper you are hoarding, quite literally the entire collection. I could be talked into trading a little pile of paper for a bottle of Stickles...lol

Perhaps I am jaded by loud unruly scrapping pages, or the pictures isn't truly worth a 1000 words in this instance, but it did not appear to be quite the hot mess I was expecting from the blog. I would leave it be.

I think you should keep it and journal. Not about the day at the pier with your daughter, but about your Stickle addiction. (Printing out the above story would be a great way to do it!) Re-print the photo & do a different layout about the pier. Someday your great grandchildren will look at this page and know what a great sense of humor you have!

Ok, colon-cleansing may be a BIT extreme, but it would probably be FAST, eh? I was trying to offer up something to get your M&M's... Actually, I have a 4 POUND jar of Jelly Bellies (from Costco) that sits on my studio table!! I guess I really don't need your M&M's, but mmmm, chocolate...

As I told you before, I will now blame scrapbooking for my weight gain. But I would not give up the M & M's I def. think they help with creativity. I love the new Basic Grey, VERY CUTE!

Hey Kim!
I work with Vickie C. and we really enjoy getting your e-mails about scrapbooking. Being avid card makers, we can relate to the stickles story and I thought M&M's were basic scrapbooking supplies - at least at my house they are. That "melt in your mouth not in your hands" is tailor made for us paper ladies!
Keep the funnies coming - we need distractions during tax season.
